DJ Tactics is a seasoned turntablist, radio veteran, and hip-hop purist with deep roots in North Jersey and a strong presence in the Philadelphia music scene. Known for his razor-sharp scratches and deep knowledge of hip-hop culture, Tactics has spent decades representing real rap through radio, live shows, and studio work.

He began his radio journey in 2001 at Philly’s 103.9 The Beat and soon co-created the influential Pure Elementz Radio Show with DJ Jay-Ski in 2002. Focused on classic and underground hip-hop, the show transitioned to podcast format in 2006, maintaining its dedication to the culture across platforms like Apple Podcasts and Podomatic.

As the official DJ for hip-hop group Pride Over Riches (P.O.R.), Tactics brings a classic feel to tracks like “Next 2 Blow” and “Break Ya Neck” off their 2025 album Products of Resurrection. He also regularly contributes cuts for his Cousin, Delaware MC Kae Hock, showcasing their family bond through music. His cuts were also featured heavy on the World Record album by the 49'ers (Marchitect and Jas Mace)

Influenced by legends like Red Alert, Chuck Chillout, and Marley Marl, DJ Tactics continues to carry the torch for real hip-hop—on stage, on wax, and over the airwaves.
